New Medical Director, Dr. Michael Hsu

MEMORIALCARE HOME HEALTH IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE DR. MICHAEL HSU AS NEW MEDICAL DIRECTOR

MemorialCare Home Health (MCHH), an affiliate of the MemorialCare Health System, is pleased to announce that effective September 1, 2021, Dr. Michael Hsu joined the home health care agency as Medical Director.

Dr. Hsu will be working very closely with the patients and the staff of MemorialCare Home Health. In this role, Dr. Hsu will oversee patient care policies, outcomes, strategic initiatives and overall patient care. In addition, he is available to provide consultative and hands-on care for patients who require a primary care physician.

He has a reputation of being very easy to work with and accessible to his patients and partners,” said Peggy Hopkins, executive director of MemorialCare Home Health. “We put a great deal of thought into which physicians we align with. He, along with our long-standing Medical Director Dr. Ali Tabatabai, will work closely with our nurses and therapists to ensure we provide the highest level of care to our patients in the community.”

“Dr. Tabatabai will continue to focus a lot of his time with our staff and patients living in the central and southern areas of Orange County, whereas Dr. Hsu will devote his time to the patients and staff who reside in the northern part of our service area,” said Cynthia Thiel, vice president of MemorialCare Home Health. “Orange County is so large that we really felt we needed two respectable and accessible physicians to meet our ever-growing needs. We are very confident that we are partnered with two of the most highly regarded physicians in this area.”
